This peaceful location is ideal for travelers seeking tranquility and a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The property is a short 10-minute drive from Gaios, the island’s main town, where you’ll find grocery stores, restaurants, and charming local shops. Nearby, you can explore beautiful beaches such as Kaki Lagkada and Monodendri Beach, both within a 15-minute drive. For those interested in hiking, there are several walking trails that will take you through olive groves and scenic landscapes, offering stunning views of the island. Romanatika House is also close to the charming village of Loggos, where you can enjoy traditional tavernas by the sea. How to get to Paxos: With no airport on Paxos, most visitors fly to the nearby island of Corfu and then transfer by hydrofoil, speed boat or sea taxi. Charter flights to Corfu operate from most major European airports from May to October. There are also scheduled flights operating from Athens during the winter months. We recommend choosing flights that arrive early to Corfu to avoid an overnight stay before transferring to Paxos. Arrival Transfers: You can confirm your transfer arrangements with the help of our local office ([email protected]). If you book your transfers pre-payment is required and you will be met at Corfu airport with a taxi to take you to the port. We will also meet you at Gaios with a mini van or car hire, depending on which you have arranged.
