Kamini Villa is ideally located within a short walking distance from picturesque Kamini harbour and the island's only main town, Hydra port. The nearest organised beach is pebbled Castello and its clear, shallow waters make it perfect for children. Guests can also enjoy a refreshing dip from the flat rocks just 30 metres below the house. Set in a beautiful garden with citrus trees and gorgeous bougainvillea, the charming villa looks out over the shimmering blue sea to the nearby island of Dokos and in the distance, Spetses. While the west-facing orientation means guests can be assured of spectacular sunset views. The villa is also within easy reach of some of the best walking paths in Greece.
Built in the 1950s, the villa has been recently restored throughout with loving attention to detail. The 200 m2 residence stands on a 320 m2 plot only 20 steps from the coast road.
The airy en-suite master bedroom (20 m2) has a queen-size bed, a 32" TV, air-conditioning and a ceiling fan. The second bedroom (14 m2), with a queen-size bed, air-conditioning and ceiling fan, opens onto a delightful jasmine- and wisteria-draped private terrace with a hammock. The cosy alcove has one or two single beds and a fan. While the fourth bedroom (20 m2) is en-suite with a king-size bed, a comfortable fold-out sofa bed, TV and air-conditioning. The second bedroom and alcove share a bathroom (shower/WC) with the living room and all sleeping areas enjoy sea views.
The living room (40 m2) has two Budapest Dormeuse couches and a traditional Hydran couch. Equipped with a 53" TV, HiFi, DVD player, movie library, air-conditioning and ceiling fans, the room features a fireplace and four windows that allow in plenty of light, and opens onto an enchanting private terrace with unobstructed views.
The fully equipped, spacious kitchen (40 m2) has a large dining table, couch and fireplace. Through three windows it enjoys sea views and opens onto a spacious bougainvillea-shaded terrace with a dining area for 12, along with other outdoor sitting areas.
