Perched on the hills surrounding the famous beach, Hugo is a marvellous modern Cycladic property set in the most natural area of Mykonos. The location makes the outstanding beaches of Panormos and Aghios Sostis reachable within minutes while Chora remains at a little less than a 15 minute drive away, just enough to have the liberty to decide whether to join the vibrant night life of Mykonos or not. The enjoyment of this particular area of Mykonos is the main theme driving the design of the outdoor area of Hugo, where the delightful pool plays a main role in the villa’s main terrace accompanied by comfortable sun beds and a stone built 10x2 m sun deck, which allow appreciation of this feature to the fullest. A pergola tastefully decorated with a bar, barstools, sofas and coffee tables provide an extensive view over Lake Marathi. A tall pergola protects a professional bbq and provides for dining, sunbathing and partying with a view of Panormos. As far as architecture and interior design are concerned, Hugo is the perfect example of what a traditional Myconian architecture combined with modern design and facilities can become in the thoughtful hands of discerning owners who show appreciation from the Cycladic architecture. Hugo was developed as two separate houses enabling parallel lives in the same space and sharing support services. The two houses were constructed in 2010 with extensions in 2021 and 2022 in 4000 sqm (1 acre) plot occupy 500 sq.m. Two more bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms are located on and by the tall pergola ensuring maximum privacy. All bedrooms are tastefully appointed and feature modern comforts such as en-suite bathrooms and air-conditioning.
